KS Brigitte Fassbaender, a legendary mezzosopranist, one of the leading opera singers of the 20th century, will be teaching in the Czech Republic for the very first time.

Her three-day masterclass 8 students will be offered one 45minute personal lesson a day accessible to all the remaining students. The day will open by half-hour of physical training followed by two 3hours teaching blocks with one 30min break.

10:30-13:30 - 1st singing block with 4 students

14:00-17:00 - 2nd singing block for 4 students
The opera masterclass concept requires participation throughout the entire teaching block. It concerns a complex approach of a leading opera singing technique and interpretation. The day begins by a team physical and vocal warm up. Presence of all students on all lessons brings a deep understanding and opportunity to learn the technique not only for themselves but also by listening to their colleagues. Everyone is requested to prepare 2-3 arias or songs from his/her repertoire on which they intend to work.

Price: 210 euro until 15th of May (after 15th of May 240 euro).
Travel and accomodation are not included.

The application must be accompanied by your vocal sample. The inclusion of the course you will be informed within 14 days after receipt of the recording. The masterclass is also possible to visit passively. Price CZK 250 (10 euro) per day.
