Simona Babčáková

Simona Babčáková (1973) graduated at Zlín's school of Arts. She was working in the City's theatre Zlín in performances from J.A.Pitínský during her studies. Then she was studying improvisation under the leading of Jaroslav Dušek at The Institution of Arts of Jaroslav Ježek, where she also got lessons of indian kathak from Ivana Hessová and thai-ji from Fengin Song. From 1998 until 2002 she was acting in the Klicpera's Theatre in Hradec Králové.

This time was closely conected to an outstanding director, Vladimír Morávek. This year it's been the fifth year of her career in the Theatre of Dejvice, whereś she has participated in an improvised experiment called "Sekec Mazec", under the leading of Jaroslav Dušek. She has continued this inscenation with her own serie of improvisations called Second Sekec. Her favourite actpartners are Tomáš Pospíšil, Johana Švarcová (DNO. Audiofenky), Tomáš Jeřábek (VOSTO5) a Ester Kočičková.... Her searching project will be determined into improvisation techniques inciting your playfullness and fantasy. Anyone can apply.
