Radka Fišarová

fisarova10 She was born in Prague in 1977. She started singing at the age of five in the Bambini di Praga choir. She graduated from the Conservatory of Jaroslav Ježek, field of study singing and musical. Several years she played folk and country music with her own band. Then, she started to sing in musicals, which she has been doing up to the present day. Her first musical was Hair, then followed Evita and a number of Czech musicals such as Kleopatra, Tři mušketýři, Angelika etc. She also sang in the Národní divadlo (National Theatre) in Prague in a dance performance Lucrezia Borgia or in the opera Montezuma. She performs in Prague musical theatres Broadway, Hybernia or Kalich. Already for ten years, her crucial role has been the title part in the musical Edith Piaf, which is performed in many Czech towns as well as on tours abroad. The French chanson is also included in her concert repertoire: in a performance called Malá pocta velké Edith (Little Tribute to Great Edith) with a jazz trio and accordion and in the symphonic version called Paris, Paris.
