Matthias Sperling
Originally from Canada, Matthias Sperling has been based in the UK since 1997. He is an associate artist with the national dance agency Dance4 and winner of a Bonnie Bird New Choreography Award. His work has been presented at international festivals including Nottdance (UK), Dance Umbrella (UK), Les Rep'rages (France) and Springdance (Netherlands). He has performed and collaborated with companies including Wayne McGregor's Random Dance and Siobhan Davies Dance. His current projects include 'Thought Dance', an interactive installation using EEG technology to investigate the movement of thought.
