Lenka Kolářová
MgA. Lenka Kolářová (born 1976) Gained the initial training through modern gymnastics and after ten years of practice was awarded 1st prize in National championship in stage compositions. After a three-year gap started to dance in the ANTARES company, directed by Vlastimil Červ. There she danced in the pieces "Labyrintem člověka" (1997), "Radování s duší ženy"(1998) and "BARDO"(1999). Then entered the Prague Chamber Ballet and performed in "Rock me gently"(2000 - Bruce Taylor), "Son Chemin" (2000 - Patrick Delcroix), "6 tanců" (2000 - Jiří Kylián), "Z domoviny" (2001 - Kateřina Dedková-Franková), "Slovanské dvojzpěvy" (2000), "Don Juan" (2001), "Tance podle Brahmse" (2002 - Libor Vaculík), "Svatby" (2000), "Stabat Mater" (2001), "Z mého života" (2002), "Symfonieta" (2002 - Pavel Šmok), "Saturnin" (2002 - Marika Blahoutová-Hanušová), "S úctou" (2003 - Jan Kodet). Since 2005 is a member of ProART Company and appears in the choreographies of M. Dvořák "Já už tě nemám rád", "Kdopak by se bál...", "Baroko-(V náručí mužů)", "Reality Boulevard", "Nikdy neodeslané dopisy", "Endless Flights".
Between 2007/2008 danced in the Ballet Prague - Prague Chamber Ballet of Pavel Šmok in pieces composed by Lucie Holánková "Fuga K.L.L.I.", "Te Deum", "Divocí koně", "Jablůňka", "Sluha dvou pánů" and of Pavel Šmok "Čtyři listy ze života". In 2008/2009 was a guest dancer in the Landestheater Linz, performing in the "Fidelio" ballet choreography of Jochen Ullrich. Since 2009 appears as a guest in "Rusalka" (J. Kodet) in the National Theatre and in "KUDYKAM" (Petr Strouhal) in the State Opera Prague. She graduated from dance pedagogy at HAMU (Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) and gives tai-chi lessons at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague.
means "balancing of jin and jang", or "constant exercise of life force". Tai-chi releases the tension of the body and contributes to meditation using standing post and slow, repetitive movements. Tai-chi can be described as an exercise based on the balance of three principles - breath, concentration of the mind and movement.
