Isira Makuloluwe
Initially a graduate of Molecular Biology, Isira began dancing as a teenager on the streets of London in the original wave of Breakdance in the '80s. After graduation he studied classical ballet and finished his dance studies at the Alvin Ailey School in New York. Having danced with several companies and exploring a wide range of repertoire including Maurice Bejart, William Forsythe, Rui Horta, Alvin Ailey and Talley Beatty, Isira began choreographing at the age of 30. His works for his company and major repertoire companies have been seen Europe-wide for the past decade.

CONTEMPORARY DYNAMIC RELEASE
Brno 20.7.-26.7.2013
This year Isira's classes will look more closely at the idea of composition through devised technical situations. Beginning with an intense period of improvisation where the dancer has an opportunity to experience him or herself freely, the class will then approach technicity and performance together, in order to make the dancer more adaptable and the experience of dancing a more enjoyable one.
Through his DYNAMIC RELEASE TECHNIQUE© classes he hopes to develop an openness of dialogue between dancer and choreographer and enhance the creative potential of the dancing individual.
