Eric Trottier
born in Canada, is now based in Mannheim as a dancer and resident choreographer at the National Theatre under the direction of Philippe Talard. In past he has also worked with Jochen Ulrich Innsbruck ensemble. More's own works he created in recent years at the City Theatre Fürth and the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, Brotfabrik Bonn, Ballsaal bonn, Moravian National Theatre and Felina-areal theaters. Toured with performanes to Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Montreal, Shanghai, Madrid, Marseille...
As a dancer he worked for the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Liz Kings Heidelberger ensemble Cocoondance, Karel Vanek and worked with the choreographer Rami Be'er, Mats Ek, Jiri Kilian, Gideon Obarzanek, Rafaele Giovanola and Jean Renshaw.
Since 2011 he create for his own LA TROTTIER DANCE COMPANY MANNHEIM

Dance Searching Project

Searching projects are annually a pearl of all workshops. They offer the possibility of intense creative work in the small group of participants. After seven-day work a world premiere is presented together dance, singing and acting searching projects on stage for wide public. It is a challenge for teachers and for the participants to seek and find the courage, creativity, desire and joy to the common artistic experience.
For the warm-up Eric use the 60min yoga class (tought by Martin Dvorak), then it will continue by choreographic research and creation.
